Purple Mints is a Purple Kush x Skunk #1 x Cookies cross with a multi-layered terpene profile that is full of surprises. This impressive Variety pops like you would expect from the classic indica heavyweights from Paradise.
For indica lovers who want to enjoy the so-called sofa-wide relaxation state, Purple Mints with its typical effect is just the thing. It is labelled with a warning due to its high potency and is only recommended for experienced consumers.
The growth of Purple Mints
Indoor: Purple Mints is a versatile and adaptable Variety. With a classic indica growth habit, the majority of its growth takes place during the vegetation phase. Paradise growers recommend filling as much space as possible during the vegetation phase. Pruning allows more light to reach the buds and accelerates the growth and maturation of the flowers. During the flowering period, this plant needs a lot of nutrients. It is also advised to let it grow for the entire cycle to be rewarded with a rich harvest.
Outdoor: Purple Mints easily reaches its growth potential in Mediterranean and dry areas. As a bushy indica, growers in cool and damp areas can expect mould more often, but due to its Skunk parentage and early harvest maturity when grown outdoors, this indica is better prepared for wet autumn weather than many others.
The flowers are a trimming wonder, very little is needed. Nevertheless, it is the size and weight of the flowers that will convince you. The flowers themselves have an extremely attractive appearance, combining purple, orange and a resinous white to create an attractive colour palette.
It is suitable for outdoor cultivation between 50º N.L. and 50º S.L. and is ready to harvest in the first weeks of October. Indoors it takes around 8 - 9 weeks. You can expect a yield of around 600 grams/m² indoors and 900 grams/plant outdoors.
The effect of Purple Mints
Pleasure-related: The THC concentration is 22% but that's not all, as the effect of this plant lies in the sum of its Characteristics. The side effect begins with a euphoric high, which then gives way to an intense feeling of heaviness. Even experienced connoisseurs are almost magically drawn to its calming effect. Consumed in large quantities, Purple Mints helps to induce deep and sound sleep.
Medicinal: The highly relaxing effect of this Variety has, as already mentioned, also been labelled with a warning and is not suitable for people who have very little experience with cannabis. Nevertheless, its calming effect is a quality that does bring benefits, especially for patients suffering from stress and anxiety disorders.
The smell and flavour of Purple Mints
The terpene profile of Purple Mints is sure to impress the expert grower who appreciates the unique cocktail of flavours and smells in the grow room. Dried flowers smell like freshly baked banana bread, but when the flowers are rubbed between the fingers, the scents rise and the room is flooded with skunky, fruity flavours that hang heavy in the air.
The initial flavour of strawberries gives way to the sweetness of banana. An aftertaste, which is pleasingly long lasting, consists of mint, pine and eucalyptus notes with a hint of fuel.
