Crossing our original Orange Bud with Sweet Pink Grapefruit resulted in Passion Fruit and we couldn't be happier with the result as it combines the best of both worlds! It is a fairly easy plant to grow but can be challenging (in a fun way). This makes it an interesting strain for all types of growers.

The growth of Passion Fruit

Passion Fruit is a great plant for beginners as it is very resilient and forgiving. It responds very well to bending and supercropping. Topping and fimming is recommended if you want a more uniformly bushy plant structure. Passion Fruits can have a fairly compact growth pattern during the vegetative growth period. It can have thick stems as well as large and wide fan leaves, showing more of its indica heritage. During flowering, the sativa side of the genetics becomes more apparent as she begins to stretch and gain height. Because she is such a strong hybrid, she is suitable for all sorts of growing methods, whether you focus on numerous plants per m2 or just a handful.

The effect is powerful and cerebral, but not devastating or paranoid. The original Orange Bud genetics help to maintain the highly enjoyable and social. No question, Passion Fruit is exceptionally strong and delivers an excellent feel-good high.

Smell and taste of Passion Fruit

The name Passion Fruit is derived from the appealing scent and great taste of the buds. It is slightly sour, sweet and fruity with a hint of grape, which reminded the Dutch Passion team of real passion fruit.
