Original Afghani is derived from a stable landrace population traditionally cultivated in harsher mountain regions. The focus of this Seeds66 version lies in the classic traits: compact frame, early resin and a deep, earthy aromatic line. During our selection work in California, plants with short internodes and consistent resin build-up showed the most reliable pattern, which became the base of this release.
Growth & cultivation
Plants stay compact with firm side branches and a moderate stretch. Under an even LED setup, the crown forms dense buds with early trichome production that becomes noticeable before mid-flower. A moderate nutrient level helps maintain leaf color and keeps the structure tight.
Original Afghani performs best in medium pot sizes and steady indoor conditions with stable airflow. The line naturally forms a defined crown, making it easy to manage without heavy training.
Seeds66 Tip:
Remove only the leaves that rest directly on the top buds. The line benefits from a mostly natural canopy with a lightly opened center for airflow and light penetration.
Aroma & Terpenes
