Toof Decay is a Mephisto project that was worked on over several years. Until the line was where it was supposed to be, it took several rounds of selection. In the end, the result was a strain with strong looks: light, almost lime-green flowers, orange pistils, colored leaves and a lot of resin that can extend to the stems and large fan leaves.
The base lies in older GFBB seeds, meaning Grapefruit x Blueberry from Chimera Genetics. This original line already stood out for strong yield. The F2 were grown out and from 50 females only two remained in the end for pollination with the auto breeding line. After that, the further breeding continued until the autoflower trait was fixed. That is how Toof Decay was created.
It took more than one F1 round until the right plants for the project were found. At Mephisto, Toof Decay belongs to the lines with a lot of selection work in the background.
The growth of Toof Decay
Toof Decay grows compact. The stems are strong and the leaves broad. It moves quickly into flowering and carries a sweet smell. In small pots, it can be run well in dense indoor runs. With large pots, it can become quite a bit bigger.
The main cola is dominant. Anyone who wants to open the plant up a little can work early with LST or leaf tucking to distribute the mass better. The flowers get thick, so in mid to late flower enough air should move through the plant. It prefers indoor grows. Outdoors it also works with care, but mold should be kept in view.
The effect of Toof Decay
The effect often moves from a giggly, relaxed side into a calmer direction. Many use Toof Decay to lift mood and appetite.
Smell and taste of Toof Decay
The profile goes in a fruity direction, almost like a mixed fruit basket, with spicy and floral parts added. The aroma is sweet and full.
