Samsquanch OG Auto by Mephisto Genetics has its origin at Spannabis 2015, when they got into a conversation with Loompa and took material from his OG environment with them.
First they took an auto line around Triangle Kush. Then Bear OG from Karma Genetics was added. This initially became 3 Bears OG Auto. Later, this exact line was crossed with Loompa’s Yeti and selected until the autoflower trait was stable.
The result was Samsquanch OG Auto: a strong, productive auto with a clear OG direction, good production and a lot of flavour. Mephisto is very pleased with the result.
The growth of Samsquanch OG
Samsquanch OG gets going quickly and puts strength into the side branches. Later in flower, a lot of mass comes through and the buds turn out compact. Overall, the plant looks broad and heavy.
It handles training well. In the growth phase, weak lower shoots should be removed. Because of its size, it takes a little longer and ends up at around 70 to 75 days from seed to harvest.
The effect of Samsquanch OG
The effect clearly goes in a heavy direction. Many describe it as physically relaxing, with a deep head high and good suitability for evening use. It is also very appetite-stimulating.
Smell and taste of Samsquanch OG
Aromatically, the OG heritage is noticeable: earthy, spicy, diesel and with a slightly sharp aroma that many look for in lines like this. There are also sour and skunky notes that give the profile more depth.
