Damnesia is a combination of two classic strains from the Amsterdam scene: firstly the famous A.M.S, known for its great outdoor resistance and secondly Amnesia Haze, one of the most commercially grown strains in Europe, known for its high production and ease of growth.
The result is a perfect blend of both worlds. The vigour and high yield of Amnesia, paired with the sweetness, red fruit-like smell and rock-hard buds of A.M.S. The improved pest and fungus resistance, make Damnesia the perfect strain for indoor and outdoor growing in large quantities or for growers looking for outdoor resistant strains, with high yields, in hard to grow areas.
The growth of Damnesia
Damnesia has a beautiful pine-like structure, which it has partly inherited from Amnesia, combined with the shortness between the nodes of A.M.S that makes it a perfectly robust plant suitable for all growing conditions. It is also very resistant to over-fertilisation and can forgive some mistakes during cultivation. The flowers join together in long colas due to their short knot spacing, a nice long structure and a high weight at the end of the flowering period.
The dried buds are long, pear-shaped and have small calyxes. Their trichomes are dense and strong.
Crushed buds are brownish-green with red highlights and small, thin hairs.
Indoors, this lady needs 9 weeks of flowering with a yield of approx. 900 grams/m² (with 1000W HPS). Outdoors she needs 9 - 10 weeks, harvest time mid to end of October, with a yield of up to 1000 grams per plant, depending on the final size. A support for the long branches is recommended.

Smell and flavour of Damnesia
The flavour and effect of damnesia are a mixture of both parents. Taste-wise, you can first detect the characteristic taste of Amnesia, that fresh, piney sativa flavour that lingers in the mouth, but then you are touched by the sweetness of AMS, which brings an overripe red fruit flavour that blends perfectly with the piney notes. Its odour is reminiscent of sandalwood, incense and black pepper.
