Big Tooth is a blend of 3 original old-school strains that Arjan has collected over the years, combined to bring back some of the vigour and original cannabinoid profiles of the strains from the old days. The result is a beautiful and vigorous plant that will make all hash lovers and outdoor growers happy. Big Tooth is highly resistant to pests and moisture due to its Hawaiian Sativa parentage. Mixed with the compactness of the Afghani strain and the amazing resin profile of the Nepalese hash plant, it is a wonderful strain that can be grown in all conditions. Whether indoors or outdoors, it performs great and grows vigorously.
The growth of Big Tooth
Big Tooth has a strong structure with medium-sized nodes that form a compact and bushy plant that is very resistant to cold temperatures. Towards the end of the flowering period, it can take on a slightly darker colour. The buds become wide and long, with just the right compactness to prevent mould or fungus from forming and often foxtail-shaped to give the flowers a beautiful pear-shaped appearance, surrounded by large calyxes.
Indoors, this lady flowers for 8 - 9 weeks, with a yield of between 0.8 and 1 gram (dry and manicured) per watt per m2 (with 1000W HPS).
Outdoors, she flowers for 9 - 10 weeks and is ready to harvest in mid to late October. Depending on the final size of your Lady, you can harvest up to 1000 grams/plant. She has a good resistance to pests.
The effect of the Big Tooth
She has a unique combination, first she gives you a fast, heavy indica feeling and then the state turns into a nice and relaxed sativa feeling. Your head is energised and your body becomes active. It is very intense, complex and has a very balanced effect between body and mind. Irregular waves of energy and couch-lock can alternate, creating a very unpredictable high.
Smell and flavour of Big Tooth
The smell of Big Tooth is very complex - a mixture of the pungency of the Afghan strain, combined with some herbal and almost floral notes in the background that come from the Hawaiian strain and finally a woody note taken from the Nepalese strain. It tastes very spicy and is reminiscent of chilli peppers and hot spices.
