Malawi x PCK is undoubtedly one of the most complete sativa/indica hybrids in the Ace Seeds catalogue in terms of yield, potency, quality of effect, versatility, resilience, beauty, terpene complexity and high resin production.
To create this outstanding F1 hybrid, the famous 'Old Malawi Killer' mother was pollinated with the elite purple Pakistan Chitral Kush. While Violeta (or other Malawi/Pakistani hybrids) is more compact, columnar and faster flowering, Malawi x PCK is more vigorous, powerful and heavy-yielding, with a taller outer structure and more branching, although the flowering time is 1-2 weeks longer than her sister Violeta.
Malawi x PCK also very often displays the maroon colours and forest fruit aromas typical of the Pakistani, with a very strong and long-lasting sativa/indica effect and high resistance to fungi and rain.
The growth of Malawi x PCK
She has a branched and open sativa structure, with desirable indica vigour. This lady has an excellent adaptability to indoor and outdoor cultivation (up to 45º) in a variety of climates, warm and cold, dry and humid.
Very suitable for SOG cultivation due to the high yield in the main cola or for SCROG, horizontal or network cultivation due to the excellent yield in the side branches and the strong response to pruning. Give it a moderate-high nutrient level for the entire cycle.
The effect of Malawi x PCK
Overwhelming and complex sativa/indica effect that lasts up to 4 hours.
Complex and rich terpene profile, especially monoterpenes. It contains mainly the following monoterpenes: high amounts of terpinolene (40%), followed by moderate amounts of alpha-pinene (18%), beta-mycenene (11.5%), beta-pinene (11%) and limonene (9%), as well as smaller amounts of trans-ocimene (4%) and only traces of delta-3-carene, alpha-terpinene, phellandrene, fenchol, borneol, terpineol, camphene, camphor, eucalyptol, p-cymene and phytol. Sesquiterpenes: mainly beta-caryophyllene (2/3), followed by smaller amounts of alpha-humelene and guaiol, with traces of caryophyllene oxide.
Smell and flavour of Malawi x PCK
The violet pheno smells and tastes of wild berries and chewing gum, with a strong background of fermented lemon. The green pheno is more honey-like and caramelised.
