The growth of Gulupa
Indoor cultivation: Gulupa is a medium-growing plant, versatile and relatively easy to care for. Its growth is vigorous with medium-high growth in the grow room. Its shape is bushy with numerous buds that spread out strongly on its many branches. These swell with fat buds, which is a surprise for growers who are familiar with the typical (smaller) flower formation of their parent plants. It is advisable to prune the plant after about 5 weeks of flowering and use the lollipop method on the lower branches, leaving about 30cm of the main stem. As with all exotic Varieties, the downside of higher potency and more flavour is that the plants are prone to hermaphroditism when under stress. It is therefore important to look out for pollen sacs on the lower branches and use the lollipop method to prevent any problems that may arise.
Outdoors: Gulupa is a great plant for outdoor cultivation and grows well in Mediterranean areas where the sun favours its aromatic development and abundant flowering. Due to its excellent hardiness, however, it is also recommended for lovers of exotic plants in northern regions.
Gulupa is characterised by the purple colouring that runs through the plant during the flowering phase - from a vivid intensity of magenta and plum-coloured leaves around the flower bases to the purple streaks that also run through the buds. Fiery red pistils add fiery decoration to the fat, juicy, crystal-covered buds that look like freshly prepared delicacies.
Suitable for outdoor cultivation between 50º N.L. and 50º S.L., Gulupa cannabis seeds produce a plant that is ready for harvest in early October when grown outdoors. When grown indoors, it is ready after 60 - 65 days. The estimated yield is 500 grams/m² indoors and 700 grams/plant outdoors.
