Strawberry Kush Feminized is 70 % indica, 30 % sativa. It has a distinct sweet strawberry aroma and a strawberry flavor. Strawberry Kush by White Label is a strain whose rich berry bouquet lives up to its name. Strawberry Cough - a well-known Indica-Haze hybrid from the East Coast of the USA - was crossed with the world-famous Indica OG Kush to create Strawberry Kush Feminized cannabis seeds by White Label.

Growing Strawberry Kush

Grown from seed, the variety of phenotype is usually expressed by small differences in height growth and flowering time. Bud formation remains consistent across different phenotypes. Plants grown indoors have a flowering time of seven to ten weeks and usually triple their height during the flowering period. Experienced growers of Strawberry Kush Feminized cannabis seeds by White Label tend to select the taller, longer-flowering phenotypes for their higher yields.

Originally, Strawberry Kush was only available in clone form. Many indoor growers of this seed variety achieve optimum results by flowering cuttings from selected mother plants.

Plants grown from seed can simply flower normally and will produce good results as long as the extra height gain is taken into account. This makes Strawberry Kush Feminized cannabis seeds a good choice for greenhouse or outdoor cultivation in a warm, sunny climate, where their sativa-influenced height gain is an advantage.

Indoors, Strawberry Kush clones lend themselves well to ScrOG/SOG and super-cropping techniques. Taller phenotypes are also well suited to lollipopping as they produce most of their yield in the top half of each plant. Upper branches tend to grow at a steep angle and often merge with the central cola. So by removing the sprawling, less productive lower branches, Strawberry Kush plants can grow closer together.

In the flowering phase, Strawberry Kush shows the best of its indica and sativa heritage. Sepals quickly form at each node, which then cover the gaps between the nodes. The flower clusters eventually join together to form large colas on the main stem and at the top of the branches. This Haze-style expansion is enhanced by the density and resin production of Afghan Indica (aka Kush).

The end result is long, sparkling, solid buds that retain a good portion of their size and weight after harvest. Discreet growers should note that the characteristic aroma of this strain is often already present in the flowering stage.

The pistils of some valuable Strawberry Kush phenotypes start out pink and turn a deep red as the flowers mature. This gives the dried buds an exotic appearance that matches their spectacular aroma.
