ErdPurt is a 100% indica and a very interesting plant for developing CBD-rich outdoor hybrids.
The classic Afghani line was developed in Northern Europe, where it was selected for its quality, fast flowering and excellent adaptability to the adverse conditions of the northern climate.
It is a very decorative hash plant that can take on a variety of colors in its leaves, stems and flowers during the late flowering period. It matures very quickly and produces hard and resinous buds with coffee, earth, pine and hashish aromas. The effect is relaxing, Afghan-style, of moderate strength and high therapeutic value.
As is often the case with traditional hash plants, ErdPurt produces interesting chemotypes with THC and CBD in varying proportions at the population level, with balanced THC/CBD chemotypes being the most common, although individuals rich in THC (no CBD) or CBD (no THC) are occasionally found.
ErdPurt is an excellent Afghan strain for outdoor growing at high altitudes or in northern latitudes, where cold, wind and rain do not allow most Afghan strains to ripen properly when grown indoors.
The growth of ErdPurt
This plant has a classic Afghan structure: strong, robust and compact, with large hash plant leaves and huge stems. It grows mainly in a columnar shape, with almost no branching.
Erdpur is particularly found in the colder northern climates and can be grown up to the 55th parallel. It can withstand several days of frost and strong winds.
Some plants may exhibit semi-autoflowering characteristics when grown below the 45th parallel, especially when root space is limited by small pots. To keep mother plants indoors, it is recommended to use a high photoperiod of 20/4 and not to restrict root space by using small pots.
A long growth phase (of at least 2 months) is recommended before the plant enters the flowering phase for best results in terms of yield and development. It is also recommended to prune the plant if you want to obtain more branchy plants, as its natural structure is more columnar.
Genetic analysis shows that ErdPurt has a unique genotype with moderate genetic variability.
It is recommended to administer a moderate supply of nutrients throughout the entire cycle.
