Afgooey is a famous strain from Northern California. This genetic strain is the result of a cross between Afghan and Maui Haze. Greenhouse Seeds are the first to offer this strain, which has only been cloned so far, in feminised seeds after it was successfully reversed and crossed with itself (S1). This strain is characterised by a 70% indica/30% sativa ratio.

The growth of Afgooey
This plant is characterised by short internodal distances, a bushy structure, thick branches and wide stems. The leaves are thick and dark green, with overlapping leaflets. The buds are pear-shaped, compact and dense, with medium to large calyxes. The resin is very thick and the plants smell very strong in the middle of the flowering period.
Outdoors, under normal growing conditions, this plant can reach a height of 150 - 170 cm, with a yield of 700 - 1000 grams/plant and can be harvested in the last weeks of September.
Indoors, the yield is around 500 grams/m²; Afgooey also tolerates high EC values (approx. 1.8) and is very suitable for Sea of Green or SCROG systems.
The effect of Afgooey
Afgooey has a very stoned effect, with a cerebral effect that can be defined as confusing, intoxicating, almost chaotic. It works quickly and lasts for a long time. It also allows you to fulfil your creative side.
The most pronounced terpenes in this strain are myrcene, ocimene, caryophyllene and humulene.
Smell and flavour of Afgooey
The flavour is reminiscent of an old-school Afghan, but with a fruity twist. At first it is earthy, but then develops into a sweeter, fruitier experience with notes of orange, lemon and tropical fruits. The fragrance is very orangey and tropical, with musky hints.
