Sensi Star "The Strongest Indica" has its proud place in the cannabis world. She was the weed that helped Paradise Seeds break through when she achieved an epic double victory in the Champions League - winning both the High Life and High Times Cups in the same year.
She was rated as "one of the best cannabis strains in the world" by cannabiscupwinners.com. Sensi Star has won over 15 cups in major competitions and is still as popular as it was when it was launched in 1995.
The exact genetics of Sensi Star cannabis seeds are a closely guarded secret, but what is revealed is that the genetic code of this pungent smelling and tasting plant contains Afghani and Indian elements, plus some Skunk. Its famous potency has resulted in genetic progeny all over the world, winning the hearts of countless cannabis growers and becoming a legend in the cannabis hall of fame.
The growth of Sensi Star
Indoor: It grows small, stocky and bushy - this plant is well suited to all types of grow rooms as it allows the grower to maximise the available space. Sensi Star does well in both soil and hydro media. This feminised seed variety has also been bred for use as a multi-branch show plant, as well as (exceptionally well) in Sea of Green (SOG) and Screen of Green (SCROG), where the side branches of these short, vigorous plants contribute to excellent yields.
Outdoor: Outdoors Sensi Star demonstrates its outstanding genetic heritage, here it tends to grow into beautiful lush bushes that emerge from the ground like new stars exploding in distant galaxies. With plenty of sunshine, this plant produces many, many buds and is therefore a great favourite with growers in southern regions and those with a Mediterranean climate. Whilst it is not our top recommendation for northern regions, we have seen some very nice specimens from gardens in temperate climates.
Sensi Star is a very impressive plant, growers can expect shapely proportions with buds that are rock hard and covered in so much resin that they almost glow in the dark with crystals.
Sensi Star cannabis seeds are suitable for outdoor cultivation between 50º n. B. and 50º s. B. and produce plants that are ready for harvest outdoors (N. B.) at the end of September to the beginning of October and indoors within 8 - 9 weeks. The yield indoors is approx. 400 grams/m², outdoors up to 600 grams/plant.
The effect of Sensi Star
Pleasure orientated: The sheer power of Sensi Star is clearly noticeable both in the body and in the mind. It is a real powerhouse that will send you straight to the couch, so it is not for beginner consumers.
Medicinal: Sensi Star is known for its medicinal qualities and over the years has gained a reputation for being a good stress fighter and having analgesic characteristics, which is much appreciated by people with chronic pain.
The smell and flavour of Sensi Star
The aroma produced by Sensi Star is unique and almost defies description. It is very present in the grow room - strong, but also fresh, with minty and metallic notes, as well as hints of pine, pepper and perfume. Its terpene profile is dominated by myrcene, limonene and caryophyllene. After drying, this uniqueness is transferred to the taste, it is such a complex combination of flavours that your taste buds will be dizzy.
