Watermelon Runtz is a feminized, indica-dominant hybrid strain from Watermelon Zkittlez x Runtz. Both parent lines have been bestsellers in Europe and America for years.
The growth of Watermelon Runtz
Watermelon Runtz grows slim with many side branches and responds well to LST. If overly tall shoots are tied down, the canopy becomes more even. The genetics from Watermelon Zkittlez and Runtz bring exactly the growth pattern expected from modern dessert hybrids: plenty of resin, dense buds and easy trimming.
In terms of yield, Watermelon Runtz is in the upper range. According to the breeder, up to 550 g/m² are possible indoors and up to 1400 g per plant outdoors. The flowers are compact and heavily covered in trichomes. Silent Seeds also states a flowering time of 58 to 65 days indoors and an outdoor harvest from early to mid-October.
