Super Sour Runtz - This cross was passed down from the incredibly versatile and well-edited genetic library of Ron Herrington of Gold Hat Seeds, a lifelong breeder based in Alberta, Canada. Ron crossed the New Jersey cut of Sour Diesel with a winner of the best overall category at Spannabis, Red Runtz. He then crossed this with his Mac1 line (Miracle Alien Cookies), which originally came from a strain from Southern Oregon.
The growth of Super Sour Runtz
This strain has a dense bud structure that provides great appeal to its finished flowers. Unfortunately, if there is a lot of rain during the harvest period, mould problems can occur during the flowering cycle. It is therefore better grown indoors or in a greenhouse.
The flowering time of this photoperiod feminised strain is between 8 and 9 weeks, with high yields both indoors and outdoors. Indoors you can expect 450-600 grams per square metre, while outdoors up to 750 grams per plant are possible.
