Super Mad Sky Floater is a fantastically potent indica/sativa hybrid with feminized seeds that has some of the highest THC levels we've ever seen. This elite hybrid is grown for the quality rather than the yields (which are still above average). This strain, which contains genetics from Hash Plant, Blueberry and NYCD, has been found to have THC levels between 25 and 30%. We took the Blueberry x Hash Plant cross (sometimes called Blueberry Hash or Blue Hash) and crossed it with a NYCD (New York City Diesel/East Coast Sour Diesel) clone. The goal was to add the pungent diesel aroma and flavor to the already strong terpene profile of the Blueberry x Hash Plant. The potency was already high in both strains, but with this new cross, the potency was taken up a notch!
The growth of Super Mad Sky Floater
It grows very vigorously and also becomes quite wide. This ensures that you don't need many plants to fill the space quickly. She is fast growing and therefore usually doesn't need a long VEG period, especially if you grow her in a SOG. About 1-2 weeks if you grow with about 10 plants per m2. With 16 plants per m2 you can even grow it directly from seed on 12/12. Growers who only use a few plants per m2 can use a growing time (18/6) of about 4 weeks. If you grow a single plant in such a growing area, you only need 6-8 weeks VEG.
The sativa genetics in this cross make this strain easy to manipulate and also suitable for SCROG. The total flowering time is around 9-10 weeks and growers should note that it can double or triple during the flowering period. Those growing in larger containers will notice the greatest expansion. The plant is easy to handle and can be easily bent and (super)pruned, although it prefers to be placed in a SOG (Sea of Green).
