Strawberry Cough is 75% sativa and 25% indica. With an uplifting high and sweet strawberry flavours - what's not to love about Strawberry Cough? A true cannabis classic!
Strawberry Cough was popularised by Kyle Kushman, arguably one of the most popular cannabis breeders in the world. It was bred in Connecticut by an unnamed breeder. Kushman received his first cut from "The Cough" as a gift for helping said grower improve his garden. When he inspected the tiny clone in his Brooklyn home, Kyle was immediately overwhelmed by the great berry flavour it gave off. Moving from New York to California in 2004, Kyle kept a tray of Strawberry Cough clones in the boot of his rented Buick and distributed them to growers in every state he passed through. The rest is history...
Strawberry Fields and Haze, forever!
Strawberry Cough descends from the almighty Haze and the lesser known (but no less impressive) Strawberry Fields. Strawberry Fields was grown in New York State in and amongst strawberry orchards to mask its dank, earthy flavour. Cannabis folklore states that the plants somehow began to assimilate the flavour of their companion plants. Although these claims are neither confirmed nor denied, RQS Kyle Kushman agrees: "It's certainly not the strangest idea they've ever heard!". Strawberry Cough combines the indica genetics of Strawberry Fields with the sativa-like characteristics of Haze, with powerful flavours and a suitably uplifting high.
The growth of Strawberry Cough
When you plant Strawberry Cough seeds, you'll have vigorous plants with plenty of healthy foliage and strong side branches. Just be aware that it can double in size as it enters its flowering phase. Outdoors, Strawberry Cough is best planted early in the season in large areas where you can take full advantage of its size. Outdoor plants are usually ready to harvest from mid-October, reach a height of 200 cm and can easily yield up to 650 grams/plant.
Depending on your growing style, you can expect indoor Strawberry Cough plants to grow up to 150cm tall and produce excellent yields of up to 500g/m² within 9-10 weeks. Order your seeds and don't miss your chance to grow this Kyle Kushman favourite!
The effect of Strawberry Cough

Within minutes you should feel clear-headed, focused and sociable, ideal for daytime use, creative activities or weekend sessions with your mates.
The smell and flavour of Strawberry Cough
Once you've harvested, dried and cured your Strawberry Cough buds, they develop a delicious aroma that combines notes of fresh strawberries, candy and spice with the earthy undertones of old-school Haze.
