With Panama A5 Haze, lovers of A5 Haze and the most cultivated Dutch Haze are in luck. Among the hybridisation projects between the Ace Sativas and the legendary A5 Haze (Northern Lights #5/Haze A) by Neville, the cross with Panama (the most complete and refined Sativa) is probably the one with the greatest potential of all: a sublime 80% Sativa hybrid with genetics mainly from Colombia, Panama and Afghanistan.
Two well-differentiated main phenotypes can be found. The first and most common (60-70% of plants) produces very dominant expressions of A5 Haze, with the extreme vigour of the original F1 A5 clone and an explosive sativa heterosis from Panama, perfectly capturing and enhancing the pervasive and exciting ancient terpenes of leather, liver, charas, decaying flowers and outstanding incense of A5 Haze, with more realistic maturation times (11-13 weeks) and an overwhelming quality and personality of an American sativa worthy of a legend.
The yields of this first phenotype are huge, it has very long, fat colas due to reflowering formed by the accumulation of countless buds, really tall, wide and beautiful, very resinous, dense and lush, with a very good flower/leaf ratio.
Growers looking for the most productive specimens that are best suited to indoor cultivation will quickly realise that they are looking for their favourite female in this phenotype. Such specimens of Panama A5 Haze will immerse you in a dense fog of the most exotic and intense Haze flavours of the 90s, but in this case without Skunk, with less of the Afghan presence of Northern Lights and with the ever-positive contribution of Panama Goddess F10, which always enhances the effects and terpene profiles with its sophisticated parentage and refined, premium American sativa qualities.
Unlike the first phenotype, which always has high expressions but is tamed and adapted to indoor cultivation, Ace finds a less common recessive phenotype with extremely dominant traits of the Neville's Haze A male (both in growth and flowering): like a non-hybridised old Mexican sativa expression, with much shorter internodal distances and slow flowering up to 15 weeks, without great adaptability to artificial light and no discernible influence of NL #5 or Panama.
The second phenotype produces untamed pure sativa expressions, with much more modest indoor yields, but it allows lovers of Dutch Haze varieties to experience females with very dominant and reliable characteristics of Neville's Haze A males, whose descendants have created the legend of the most extraordinary Haze hybrids.

The growth of Panama A5 Haze
This lady is a large sativa, very vigorous and well branched, she needs space to develop and can be grown indoors with strong light intensity and enough space for her size.
It is recommended to start it in flower after 15 days from seed, or from clones that have been rooted for at least 7 days. A photoperiod of 11 (light)/13 (dark) for flowering indoors to encourage flowering and avoid re-flowering or excessive stretching in early flowering is recommended.
Very suitable for SOG crops due to the large yield in the main cola or for SCROG, horizontal or network cultivation due to the excellent yield in the side branches and the vigorous response to pruning.
Outdoors, it is particularly suitable for cultivation in tropical or subtropical climates, although it can also be grown in warm coastal climates with mild autumns (similar to the Mediterranean) up to latitudes close to 43º with very good results.
For the first, faster and more productive phenotype, high nutrient levels are recommended throughout development, while the second, slower growing phenotype prefers much more moderate nutrient levels.
The effect of Panama A5 Haze
Panama Goddess by Ace brings freshness, expansiveness, clarity, warmth and optimism to the very strong, dark and narcotic effect of A5 Haze, making it much more pleasant, cheerful and less intoxicating. You'll feel a clear, cerebral initial effect that expands and awakens your senses before transitioning into a warm psychedelic reverie half an hour later that encourages playful introspection.
A contemplative progression with a hashish feel and a pleasant, relaxing stoned ending that will quickly have you longing for food and a sofa to finally rest quietly with your mind switched off. It's great for cold afternoons when you have nothing to do and want to dedicate yourself to relaxation and solitary contemplation amidst clouds of incense.
Terpene profile
Contains mainly the following monoterpenes: variable levels of beta-myrcene, which can range from moderate to very high, followed by high levels of terpinolene, with variable levels of alpha-pinene, which can range from moderate to very high, moderate-high levels of beta-pinene and trans-ocimene, limonene and linalool in small proportions. Sesquiterpenes: small amounts of alpha-bisabolol, guaiol, trans-nerolidol and beta-caryophyllene.
Smell and flavour of Panama A5 Haze
Its flavours could be described as coarse, such as leather, meat (liver), charas, wood, decaying flowers and intense incense, some specimens also show a pestilent organic rotten background, such as decaying meat. While the A5 Haze clearly dominates with its terpenes and personality, the Panama contributes with floral, musky and lemony notes that complement each other well and enhance the rough, coarse flavour of the A5.
