Mango Smile Auto is one of four sativa-based strains that Mephisto has developed in recent years. The growth of Mango Smile Auto
Mango Smile can be considered quite unusual in its behavior and structure. It starts with a unique leaf shape, soft and definitely Sativa-like. The seedling and vegetative stages are fairly uneventful; it just grows along. BUT as soon as you switch the light, all hell breaks loose...
Mephisto recommends keeping the plants low, using a large pot from the start and actively training them with LST to HST and strobe lighting. This lady can be heavily manipulated without slowing down her growth.
Depending on how you shape Mango Smile, you can get either large monster colas and satellite flowers or more covered plants with slimmer flowers. The flowers are usually compact for a strong Sativa strain and the calyxes can stack, but with proper care, the flowers are strongly curved and covered with thick white resin. Like photoperiodic sativas, this strain is sensitive to its environment, but if you do everything right, you can expect really large yields of powerful flowers. Again, less is more when it comes to nitrogen and fertilization.
The growth cycle for Mango Smile Auto is between 75 and 90 days. Each plant produces 100–150 grams of highly resinous sativa buds that are excellent for extract makers.
