Hindu Kush is a 100% Indica landrace from the Hindu Kush Mountains. This line stands for the old Kush base: stocky growth, broad leaves, compact flowers and a heavy, resinous final look. With 26% THC, it clearly goes in the physical direction and is built for pressure, not for lightness.
There is no modern show genetics in this line. Hindu Kush stays with what a real Kush line is made of: robust structure, dense Indica form and a profile that feels earthy, deep and direct. If you are looking for classic Kush, this is exactly the corner you end up in.
The growth of Hindu Kush
Hindu Kush stays short and compact. Indoors it reaches 80 - 120 cm and after 55 - 65 days of flowering it brings around 550 - 600 g/m². The plant builds up stable, branches strongly and puts the focus early on dense, firm flowers.
The growth is clearly indica-heavy. Broad leafwork, short spacing, a stocky frame. In flower it pushes mass into the buds without looking restless. The overall picture stays compact and controlled.
Visually, this matches the genetics. Dark green leaves, heavy buds, clear resin coverage. In cooler temperatures, purple to deeper shades can appear. It does not look forced, but fitting for the line.
Outdoors, Hindu Kush can reach up to 200 cm. Under good conditions, up to 1000 g per plant are possible. According to the specification, the harvest window falls in the 1st to 2nd week of October.
The effect of Hindu Kush
The effect is heavy. Hindu Kush delivers body stone, euphoria and deep relaxation. No hectic head trip, no flat short effect. It pulls downward and stays physical.
It works especially well in the evening. The strain takes the pace out, puts weight on the body and brings exactly that calm Kush side these lines have been valued for over the years.
Smell and taste of Hindu Kush
In aroma, Hindu Kush shows a clear old school profile: classic Kush, with sharp citrus notes as well as earthy and woody parts. The profile feels dry, distinct and deep. No candy-like sweetness. No modern dessert play.
On the taste side, a mix of sweet sandalwood, earth and citrus comes through. This is exactly what gives the strain its typical Kush character: heavy, clear and without detours.
