Double Dutch was originally developed by Gerrit of Magus Genetics in the first decade of the 21st century. It is a stable cross between a male Warlock and a female Chronic, dating back to before the year 2000.
The growth of Double Dutch
During vegetative growth, Double Dutch shows its indica side with its broad leaves, heavy stem and bushy growth pattern. During flowering, Double Dutch produces huge, sativa-like buds, just like its mother, the Chronic strain. All tips of the plant that receive sufficient light form huge, dense buds that resemble elongated popcorn balls. The side branches of Double Dutch need to be supported due to their extraordinarily heavy weight.
This variety thrives well in organic, coco and hydroponic systems.
The effect of Double Dutch
The effect when smoked is complex and powerful; the cerebral high and pleasurable body effect have won this plant several awards. Combined with its enormous yield, this strain is a must for all serious growers.
The smell and taste of Double Dutch
The Double Dutch aroma resembles a pleasant fruity wildflower scent.
