Chocolope originates from two classics: Chocolate Thai, a Southeast Asian landrace known for its warm cocoa aroma, and Cannalope Haze, a resinous, energetic Haze with a tropical edge. Combined, they produce a tall, expressive Sativa with long internodes and a clear, bright terpene signature.
For the Seeds66 line we selected plants that consistently delivered three traits: distinct chocolate and roasted notes, a focused, active Sativa effect and a floral structure that remains stable even at height. During our test runs in California, only phenotypes with repeatable growth patterns were carried forward — tall but manageable, with strong lateral branches and buds that develop evenly along the stem.
Growth & cultivation
Chocolope grows just like a classic Sativa: upward drive, long spacing and an airy crown. Indoors she usually reaches 80–140 cm depending on veg time and can exceed that quickly if left untrained. A single topping, gentle bending or simply switching a bit earlier to flower is often enough to keep the height under control. This helps her make full use of the 9–11 week flowering window and ensures the long flower segments receive proper light.
Outdoors she shows her full potential: in warm, protected spots she can reach up to 300 cm. The usual harvest window ranges from mid to late October. In well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, yields of 600–1200 g per plant are realistic when moisture and feeding stay consistent. Thanks to her open Sativa structure she handles brief humid phases better than dense, heavy Indicas.
Hydroponic systems often bring out her speed: roots expand quickly and the plants convert the additional resources into long, evenly built flower stacks. Under LEDs, a touch more blue light during the vegetative stage helps to manage stretch without compromising vigour.

Treat Chocolope like the tall Sativa she is: shape the top early — either by topping or gently lowering the main stems — and allow the side branches to form a wide canopy. This creates even light distribution and helps the long, slender buds finish at the same pace.
Aroma & terpenes
Once dried, Chocolope releases a warm mix of cocoa, roasted coffee and sweet, dark chocolate. Breaking the buds reveals more earthiness and subtle woody tones — a clear sign of the Chocolate Thai heritage. Some phenotypes show faint vanilla or honey notes after a longer cure.
On the palate she delivers a blend of sweet cocoa, nutty roast aromas and a mild herbal layer. Myrcene, caryophyllene and pine-forward terpenes are common, while the Thai side adds the characteristic mocha impression.

Chocolope produces a fast, bright head effect — clear, energising and noticeably uplifting. Many report enhanced focus, a more vivid perception of colours and an easier mental flow. It’s a strain suited to active hours rather than late evenings.
