S.O.D.K is a Mephisto polyhybrid that is now available in F7. The starting point was S.O.D, an East Coast Sour Diesel phenotype with a sativa-leaning structure and a striking orange-diesel profile. Later, the line was crossed with the auto project Triangle and then continued as its own strain.
This created Sour Orange Diesel Kush, or S.O.D.K for short: a vigorous autoflower with good yield, a citrus-diesel direction and solid resin production. Within the Mephisto catalog, it has been one of the better-known strains for years. Later, it also flowed into further projects such as Orange Diesel to push the diesel profile even more to the front.
The growth of S.O.D.K
In the first days, S.O.D.K grows more compact than you would expect from a sativa-leaning line. Typical for this strain are strong side branches and uncomplicated runs.
The flowers come out resinous and can build proper mass. Larger pots naturally increase the yield, in smaller ones it is easier in handling. Under good conditions, heights around 120 centimeters are not rare. Especially outdoor, it makes a good figure when it gets space, sun and good soil.
The effect of S.O.D.K
S.O.D.K starts active and stimulating. Anyone who reacts sensitively to stronger sativa hybrids should dose it carefully. It is valued above all for its clear effect.
Smell and taste of S.O.D.K
The profile goes in the direction of orange peel, diesel and sour citrus notes. When smoked or vaporized, citrus, light earthiness and a gassy note come together. Exactly this mix makes up the appeal of the strain.
