Bubble G from Seeds66 is our take on the old Bubblegum lines that shaped many growrooms and coffeeshops in the 1990s. This version leans clearly toward the indica side but keeps enough clarity in the head for calm conversations, light creativity and that familiar relaxed feeling. The sweet, gum-like aroma appears as soon as you crack the jar, and the line was selected specifically to bring that profile back with consistency – compact structure, solid resin coverage and a recognisable sweetness in the finished buds.

Genetics & Seeds66 selection
The roots of Bubble G go back to the well-known Indiana Bubblegum – a US classic that later made its way to Amsterdam and appeared in several competitions. This laid the foundation for our version: a line that carries the sweet Bubblegum signature but adds a compact, robust indica influence to strengthen structure, resin production and overall reliability.
In our own runs in California we favoured plants with a steady, easy-to-read growth pattern: medium internodes, a clear central stem, early resin development and a sweet profile that sits between strawberry gum and ripe fruit. Only once these traits repeated themselves across several cycles did the line become a fixed Seeds66 release.
Growth & cultivation
Bubble G feminised stays compact and is straightforward to guide, even in smaller tents or tighter spaces. Indoors it usually finishes between 80 and 120 cm depending on veg time and whether the plant is topped or shaped early on. Expect broad leaves in the first weeks that slowly give way to more open structures as flower sets in.
A single topping followed by gentle bending of the sides helps open the crown and keeps the canopy even. Many growers notice that Bubble G performs best with a balanced nutrient plan rather than pushing everything to the limit; excessive feeding tends to add leaf mass instead of weight. It shines most when light and airflow reach the entire canopy without one or two tops taking over the run.
Outdoors, Bubble G grows into a medium-sized, sturdy plant and reaches around 160 cm under good conditions. It typically finishes from late September into mid-October. A loose, well-drained soil and a sunny spot support the higher end of its yield range. The line handles minor mistakes well, making it suitable for growers who are still building experience.
Seeds66 tip:
Topping once above the third or fourth node and lowering the side branches slightly gives Bubble G a broad, stable canopy with many evenly lit tops. Keeping nutrient levels in bloom on the moderate side often leads to denser, cleaner flowers with a clearer gum-sweet profile.
Aroma & terpenes
Open a jar of cured Bubble G and the direction is obvious: a sweet, strawberry-gum scent that fills the room quickly. Underneath sit mild earthy and spicy tones that round off the profile and prevent it from becoming overly sugary. Breaking the buds brings out a fuller mix of berry sweetness, a touch of vanilla and faint floral notes.
Most samples lean toward a mix dominated by myrcene with caryophyllene and fresher supporting terpenes. In practice the smoke stays smooth and leaves a sweet, fruity trace on the palate – one of the reasons why Bubblegum-based lines remain favourites for many growers.
Effect
The effect starts with a light lift in the head – calm, positive and slightly distanced from day-to-day noise. As it settles, the indica side becomes more noticeable and the body eases without dropping straight into deep sedation. It is a balanced mix that works well for relaxed evenings or slower creative tasks.
With 15–18 % THC, Bubble G sits in a comfortable mid-range and stays easy to handle. Small amounts keep things clear enough to stay engaged; higher amounts can become more body-heavy and suit moments where the day is already wrapped up.
Seeds66 stance
Bubble G feminised shows clearly how reliable a line can become when it is selected with patience. It responds honestly to stable conditions and reveals quickly whether a setup is well-balanced across several runs.
Our approach is simple: we keep a strain only if it shows its character reliably and delivers reproducible results in realistic environments.
