The growth of Bruce Lemon Diesel
Bruce Lemon Diesel is a hybrid cannabis strain that approximates a 50/50 hybrid (indica/sativa). It is the perfect blend of a sativa-heavy Bruce Banner phenotype and an indica-dominant Lemon OG phenotype. The combination of these two genetics has produced a potent hybrid that expresses itself as a powerful strain with hybrid vigor. It grows like a boss and in flowering, it is not uncommon for plants to more than double in size. You can even see a vigorous growth pattern during the vegetative phase.
Bruce Lemon Diesel has a moderate flowering time of about 10 weeks. It produces mainly leaves with a hybrid leaf pattern, sometimes with massive fan leaves. Especially when you use a normal grow or a SOG method, these fan leaves will absorb large amounts of light, increasing the rate of photosynthesis and growth. It is also possible to grow this strain using the SCROG method. It is known to develop strong and resilient branches that can be manipulated to limit their height.
During the flowering period, you will see why Bruce Lemon Diesel has quickly become a crowd favorite. Its branches fill with large, round colas, and the flowers tend to become heavy and large. Most of these bud sites have a very good calyx-to-leaf ratio, making them a blessing for trimming and manicuring. The highest yielding plants might need some support in the second half of the flowering phase. As the flowers get thick and chunky, the branches seem to collapse under their own weight at the end of flowering.
There are some phenotypes that form foxtails. These plants have a bit more sativa in them and not only get very long colas, but also heavy frost coverage. Most of the bud sites are covered with beautiful orange pistils, which, together with the dense trichome layer, gives them a beautiful pocket appearance. Most sugar leaves are completely covered with sticky resin and are very suitable for making kief, hashish or other cannabis concentrates.
She has a medium to high stretch for about 2 to 3 weeks after the clock is turned to 12/12. Most plants start to flower as early as week 3. Their plant structure is medium to tall, most plants stretch quite a bit and you can expect the plants to reach about 75-125 cm on average. The internode spacing is short to medium. The flowers can grow into long and massive colas, even on the side branches.
It is not a difficult plant to grow, its sturdy branches are easy to manipulate. However, its thick buds can use some support at the end of flowering.
Bruce Lemon Diesel has a very high yield of about 500 grams/m². Even higher yields are possible when grown in SCROG. Especially if you grow her with sufficient light from top to bottom. Being almost a 50/50 hybrid, she can produce epic yields in optimal conditions created by an expert. Yields of more than 600 grams/m² are then possible.
Outdoors, the plants can reach a height of 3 to 4 meters. She likes to be grown in large containers with enough root space for her to flourish. Yields of more than 1 kilogram of dried buds per plant are not difficult to achieve if you grow her in an extremely sunny and dry climate.
Bruce Lemon Diesel is a solid sativa/indica hybrid cannabis strain with medium to large stretching during flowering. Its average flowering time is about 10 weeks from the time the light cycle was reduced to 12 hours a day.
Bruce Lemon Diesel was bred as an indoor strain. Due to its relatively long flowering time of about 10 weeks, it is not suitable for outdoor cultivation in temperate climates. It can take until the end of October/beginning of November to be fully harvested.
Bruce Lemon Diesel produces large, chunky flowers with a high yield. Its buds are covered in sticky resin.
