Bubba Kush Auto from Seeds66 transfers the heavy, classic Bubba character into a fully automatic cycle. This line is built on our feminised Bubba Kush combined with a selected Seeds66 Ruderalis, so structure, aroma and effect stay close to the Pre-98 clone while the plant runs through a compact, self-driven life cycle. The result is an indica-leaning autoflower that does not demand constant attention, but clearly shows its own personality at harvest.

Origin & Seeds66 selection
The starting point for this autoflower line is our own Bubba Kush selection, which itself is based on a Pre-98 Bubba clone. That base was combined with a stable Seeds66 Ruderalis to create an automatic version that keeps the compact stature, dense bud formation and typical coffee-hash bouquet as intact as possible.
In our documented runs in California, we dropped any plants that became too loose in structure or washed out in flavour. The keepers were those that formed a calm, indica-like frame, carried a solid layer of resin and moved through the full cycle in a predictable way, both indoors and outdoors. Only these selections were carried forward and released as Bubba Kush Auto.
Growth & cultivation
Bubba Kush Auto stays compact to medium in size and is very well suited for discreet indoor projects or smaller outdoor spots. Indoors she usually finishes between 60 and 110 cm, while outdoor plants tend to reach around 100 to 160 cm. The full life cycle sits in the 65 to 80 day range from seed to harvest, which makes two rounds per season possible in many gardens if the timing is right.
The line accepts nutrients readily as long as the feeding curve rises step by step and the root zone remains airy. Loose substrates with a noticeable amount of structure material like coco or perlite have worked particularly well, allowing the roots to stay active and oxygenated. Under stable conditions, yields of up to 450 g/m² indoors and up to 220 g per plant outdoors are realistic.
Seeds66 Tip
Seeds66 Tip:
Start Bubba Kush Auto directly in the final pot and use a light, airy mix with added coco or perlite. A stable light schedule, gentle training only and a carefully rising feed from around week three onwards help the plants to make full use of the 65–80 day window without pushing them into stress.
Aroma & terpenes
During flowering, the smell already points clearly towards the photoperiod Bubba: warm, earthy and resinous, with coffee and hash tones at the front. Pine and dark chocolate notes sit behind that and become more obvious once the buds are dried and cured properly.
On the palate Bubba Kush Auto is dense and rounded, with a light sweetness and a classic, resin-heavy indica finish that lingers on the tongue. Growers who appreciate oldschool indica profiles will find this automatic version surprisingly close to the original line.
Effect
With 15–20 % THC, Bubba Kush Auto delivers a full-bodied indica experience that is defined more by depth than by peak numbers. The head calms down first, then the focus shifts towards the body: shoulders and back loosen up, edges of the day soften and many things feel less urgent.
Most people reserve this profile for times when nothing important is left to do. At higher doses the couch tends to become the centre of attention, so this strain is better suited for winding down than for tasks that require coordination or long concentration.
Seeds66 attitude
Bubba Kush Auto makes it easy to see whether the early phase, substrate and nutrient management are in tune. When these parts work together, the line runs calmly through its time frame and finishes with a recognisable Bubba expression. For Seeds66 this level of reliability is key – only autos that show it over many runs remain part of the range.

Bubba Kush Auto – FAQ
1. Is Bubba Kush Auto suitable for beginners?
Yes. The plants stay relatively compact and handle small mistakes in feeding or watering as long as they start in the final pot and the substrate is airy.
2. How long does the full cycle take?
In most setups the life cycle is around 65 to 80 days from sprout to harvest.
3. How strong is the smell while growing?
From mid flower onwards the aroma is clearly noticeable: earthy, hashy, with coffee and pine notes. For indoor grows a carbon filter is strongly recommended.
4. How does Bubba Kush Auto differ from the feminised version?
The auto runs on a fixed time schedule and starts flowering independent of light changes. It stays more compact and quicker overall but keeps the recognisable Bubba profile in smell and structure.
5. What yields are realistic?
Under good conditions up to 450 g/m² indoors are possible. Outdoors, healthy plants usually fall somewhere between 60 and 220 g per plant depending on the spot and care.
6. When does this strain fit best?
Most people use Bubba Kush Auto later in the day or at night when they want to slow down and let things fade out instead of staying active.
