By crossing a pure African sativa with the legendary powerhouse Durban Haze, breeders at Royal Queen Seeds managed to tease out high levels of THCV in the offspring. This resulted in a strain with a genetic profile of 95% sativa and 5% indica.

The growth of Royal THCV

Royal THCV retains many of the growth characteristics of its African Sativa parents. As a result, this strain grows very tall during its vegetation period and loves to stretch as soon as flowering begins. Royal THCV should be grown outdoors in large, open spaces where she will stretch to her heart's content and reward you with a massive harvest.

However, if you are growing her in a grow box or indoors, you should move Royal THCV to 12/12 about 1-2 weeks earlier than usual and apply regular pruning, defoliation and training to control her growth.
